MASTER OF COUNSELLING...ENROLMENTS OPEN

Hello everyone: i am specifically targeting artists:  have you considered adding a counselling degree to your art degrees as a way of widening the lens regarding your qualifications?  I teach in the Master of Counselling program at QUT and as an artist as well as a counsellor i find the two worlds work beautifully together, engaging art as a means of healing.  I urge you to consider enrolling in this part time degree. Here is what Michelle Kemp a current second year student has to say about the course:‘As a social worker at a children’s hospital, I am often called in to speak to people who are being affected byissues such as child abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, poverty and poor prognosis. The Master ofCounselling at QUT has strengthened my ability to comfort and support these people during this vulnerable time.  The course taught me how to develop a counselling ‘tool kit’ which I have been able to apply in a wide variety of client contexts.’Apply nowApplications are now being accepted for entry in 2011.More information CONTACT MARGI ON 0410 515 637
