It’s been a while
I haven’t felt like writing lately. It’s a noisy world out there and I didn’t think adding my voice would be advantageous to anyone, I have spent the last few months focusing on Zoom workshops, Zoom consultations, walks and yoga. Playing with grandchildren, cooking simple food, watching SBS on Demand where the best movies and TV series can be found…and playing with the dog, not to mention gardening.
This year, this new year will be different. An even stronger focus on the spiritual side of yoga, a writing schedule that embraces my emerging book on arts practice, cosy nights with my family and a continued focus on the Iso Garden.
Sending blessings this new year. It is a hard one I think, but one we can journey through together.
Meanwhile, I leave you with this: one of the poems I have journeyed with since adolescence:
I am being driven forward
into an unknown land.
The pass grows steeper
the air colder and sharper
a wind from my unknon goal
stirs the string of expectation.
Still the question
Shall I ever get there
there where life resounds
a clear pure note
in the silence.
