We engage in all sorts of processes, from meditation to painting, to collage, creative writing and yoga.

In February 2021, beginning 25th, I am offering a series of Zoom workshops for just four playwrights. We will use creative arts processes to access “what we don’t know we know” regarding our emerging ideas.

Please contact me if you are interested in being part of this collaborative adventure: 0410515637 message.

Just in case you need some more information, I have posted below a couple of recent responses from two creative higher degree researchers who engaged in a recent series specifically designed for arts researchers. Each series is different, and the playwright series will focus on creative writing, that can then weave into your document.

I'd definitely recommend Margi's course. I enrolled at a time of particular personal stress when my creative practice felt very much out of reach and uncomfortable, and through the sessions, I was able to start feeling more connected to my work. The approaches and activities Margi teaches you can be used well beyond the three weeks of the course, and have helped me to begin relocating myself within my practice. I'd suggest this program for anyone who wants to feel like they've got a better handle on their mindset navigating the ups and downs of research. Ellen, QUT, 2020

I would recommend your course to every PhD student and ask that they come with an open heart and mind and to just allow whatever happens to them to just happen to them. Meaning will come after, just let it (and Margi) happen. I would recommend it because you will see things you’ve never seen before or things that are staring you in the face but you’re too down in the details to see it; because you will find new ways to think about your approach to your work and who you are as a researcher; because you will find yourself in a space with others who are just like you and that you are not alone on this journey. Joon, QUT, 2020

Thank you Joon and Ellen for your delightful responses. And I look forward to welcoming you into this tiny workshop.
